With Youth Nigeria Will Shine - By Authority G

Nigeria gained Independence on October 1, 1960 from the United Kingdom. The executive council that led Nigeria to the Independence were a prime minister, Alhaji Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Hebert Macauley, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, Sir Ahmadu Bello, Chief Anthony Enahoro and others. The first government was a coalition of conservation parties and it came into power on the back of increasingly demands for political Independence from colonial power that swept across much of the African Continent during the middle of 20th century.
The British recognized that the Independence drive had started to gain traction after world war 2 and they steered the country, then the colony and the protectorate of Nigeria towards a self governance model.
The conservative coalition government that came into power on October 1 comprises of Nigeria People Congress (NPC), The National Council of Nigeria and Cameroon's (NCNC), and the Action Group (AG). The NPC was largely housa and Muslim, the NCNC were igbo and Christian and AG were Yoruba and relatively libral.
HERBERT MARCAULEY- He was born in 1864, Herbert Macauley was the grandson of Bishop Ajayi crowther and he was trained as an engineer. He is considered the founder of Nigeria Nationalism as the movement was under his influence in 1902s. Herbert Macauley joined politics to fight for the fight of Nigerian, he founded Lagos daily news to promote the Nationalist movement, he was the first Nigerian to established a political party in 1922.

He became Nigeria youngest editor ever at the age of 21 when he was working in Nnamdi Azikiwe newspaper. Chief Enahoro joined the struggle for Nigeria Independence in the early 1940s acting as a student leader and leading protest.
I believe with President Muhammed Buhari current war against corruption, the youth has be given very pretty hope that Nigeria is going to shine and brighter future awaiting Nigeria. The current administration commitment toward a better Nigeria can never be denied and we must stand as one.
I charged the youth to engaged themselves into politics and be a good ambassadors representing their family and Nigeria, the youth must rise and build on better Nigeria by committed positively to the development of this Nation. Our forefathers work so hard to gained Independence and we must not allow what they laboured for to be in vain, we must serve our country positively and build the foundation of the coming generation
Youth should participate in politics instead of complaining about bad governance, we the youth should come out en masses and embrace politics instead of complaining, blaming and lamenting about older politicians. If we think things are not properly done the it should be, then we shold took up the mantle and join the race for the sake of better Nigeria.
The youth have the young mind to develop the Nation and formulate law that will see Nigeria to the higher level and bring us shine and brighter
The youth are the future of the country, we are viberant enough to deliver Nigeria to great development

Allah bless Nigeria
